About Jordan

Jordan High School is situated in North Long Beach, an area experiencing significant business redevelopment and growth. Student enrollment is around 2,200 students from 9th-12th grade.

Jordan High School benefits from several partnerships that enhance its Linked Learning Pathways. These industry-aligned pathways—ACE, AIMS, JMAC, and LEAPS—offer students access to advanced learning facilities and hands-on experiences through collaboration with local organizations. Jordan's Wellness Center provides students with access to counseling, wellness workshops, and community resources, reinforcing the school’s commitment to student well-being.

Jordan Activities Department hosts a variety of student activities throughout the year, including rallies, lunch activities, Homecoming, dances, and more. Through activities, many student clubs are chartered and provide students with opportunities to connect with other students and coordinate projects, community service, and fundraising.

Jordan fields 23 Varsity sports including football, basketball, soccer, and aquatics. Currently, Jordan's athletic facilities are under construction, but the school looks forward to opening a new turf football field in the Fall of 2025 and state of the art gym and pool in the Fall of 2026.

Jordan High School is staffed by a comprehensive team, including a principal, vice principals, deans, academic counselors, and a wide range of support personnel, all dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
